Casambi inspires the lighting industry to develop!

Casambi will soon introduce new products that support long-range wireless lighting control. This makes it especially easier to implement remote projects.

The previously used chip nRF52832 (System on Chip) is replaced by the chip nRF5284, which has even more advanced technology. This chip is designed to support the latest BLE5 specification, which offers enhanced performance features, e.g. long range and high performance. This will enable Casambi to be used in large outdoor spaces in the future.

Casambi Cloud Gateway

A new cloud gateway, Casambi Cloud Gateway, offers remote control and real-time monitoring of lighting networks.

The product has been designed and launched to meet the demand for demanding, industrially strong remote controls. It offers many of the functions of the Casambi App, such as lighting control, creating and customizing lighting modes & timings, collecting sensor and device usage data – and also the ability to integrate it into third-party systems via Casambi Cloud API [beta]," says Tommy Tiira from Casambi.

Casambi Cloud Gateway is expected to become available to the public in spring 2023.

Casambi Pro

Casambi Pro is a free design and commissioning tool that simplifies the configuration of lighting control. It is designed for designers and commissioning partners who are familiar with the numerous technical configuration features that can be applied to large lighting projects. The core idea is to enable the creation of configurations in advance without the need to access the right devices and networks.

This will therefore significantly reduce the time spent on the on-site implementation of the planned system. Then all you have to do is pair the object and the configuration will take place automatically.
