With Casambi, you can, for example, adjust color temperatures, schedule and dim individual luminaires, group luminaires and control them individually. One of the most important features of Casambi is its openness, allowing Casambi to support all lighting solutions.

Lighting control is easy with the Casambi app, which is free and works on smart iOS and Android devices. (Smartphones, tablets, smart watches). In addition to the application, wireless and radiatorless switches for lighting control can be installed. The switches can also be used to control a single luminaire, or a larger group of luminaires.

Casambi is ideally suited for both new and renovation projects. Whether the destination is an office, public space or living space, the system is flexible for every need. Casambi is often chosen for new projects due to cost-effectiveness, adaptability and ease of use. Renovation sites, on the other hand, due to easy installation, cost-effectiveness and easy placement.
Casambi's functions:
To adjust the color temperature: The color temperature can be easily adjusted with the help of the app and switches.
Timer: The timer function allows the lighting to be timed on and off, or even dim at the desired time of time or even with day/week accuracy.
Daylight detection: Casambi recognizes the light of the sun and adjusts the lighting accordingly. This will minimise energy consumption.
Grouping: The lamps are not grouped in a cabled manner, but programmatically. Grouping is done through the app. The lamps can then be controlled either as individuals or as a group.
Motion sensor: With motion sensors, the lighting is directed on only when needed, so that unnecessary spaces are not illuminated and energy savings are achieved.
Lighting modes: You can create countless desired lighting modes and control them either through a switch, a presence sensor, or even a timer. The new lighting mode is easy to create on your own.
Remote control: In larger real estate masses, there is a need to be able to manage and make changes centrally. At Casambi it is possible to take advantage of gateway, allowing you to access the desired Casambi networks remotely.
Gallery: You can take photos of the desired items on your device yourself and add casambi lamps on top of the lamps. This allows you to control the lighting directly from the images as well.

Casambi for healthy lighting control
Casambi has the possibility to program various motion/presence sensors, thanks to which the lights turn on from movement or presence and in turn go out when the person leaves after the desired time. Possibility of daylight detection, which regulates the need for artificial light in relation to natural light. Thus, regardless of the weather and time of day, the space can always be arranged with the same amount of light. Due to attendance and daylight automation, the spaces are not illuminated in vain and energy savings are achieved.
Although Casambi is smart, it is simple and user-friendly. It scales to large and small objects. When the construction project is completed and all the luminaires are connected, only then are the desired switches placed in the places where the lights are to be controlled. The switches are wireless and radiator-free. Installation is carried out directly on the finished surface using either screws or tape. The switches operate on kinetic abrasive electricity. If desired, changes can be made very quickly. Switches may not even be needed, as the system can be made with different timings and daylight controls, in which case the automation takes care of the lighting independently. The system detects the location and retrieves the coordinates of the place. After that, Casambi will know exactly how the sun in its location rises and sets.
Casambi's policy
The principle of operation of Casambi is based on the MESH wireless LAN. The principle of operation of the MESH topology is comparable to a fishing net, where each node is a Casambi device, that is, for example, a luminaire.
Each node talks to the other nodes in its coverage area. In this case, the network is obtained especially reliable and strong. The network will not crash if any device in between fails.
The smart capabilities of each device work independently. The Casambi system does not need a separate control center, but all the intelligence is always in every luminaire.
In Casambi, the most important thing is to ensure that the luminaire receives only continuous electricity, for example directly from the final panelboard.

Casambi enables lighting to take into account the needs of the user even in changing conditions. In Finland, especially in winter, the amount of light is low, in which case the amount of artificial light needs is higher than in summer. Adjusting the light according to the circadian rhythm also increases people's productivity and well-being.
