Has your dream ever come true?

I've got one.

Nothing has come by itself, it has required hard and determined work. Perhaps most importantly, things are being chopped up into clear timeline parts and also with objectives of suitable size. Reaching out to dreams is directly related to the creation of a strategy and, with it, to the planning of how to reach the sun.

I'll tell you a few of my dreams come true:

On Christmas 2020 Eve, I gave a small-scale speech and thanks to our staff at breakfast for the past and overall eventful year. I said that it often feels like nothing can be done during working weeks. I typically don't have time to start working on Monday until Friday when the others leave for the weekend. That's the way it is.

It occurred to me about ten years ago, when I started my business on my own. Maybe things will move forward after all. At the time, I invited my clients to my home garage to explore the amazing LED technology and automation that could intelligently control everything. The biggest challenge was convincing customers that LEDs can be used for lighting use and that there is certainly enough light intensity.

Before starting my business, I had already worked in the lighting, sound and electricity sectors for other employers for over 10 years. Ever since I was a little boy, I built lamps and I was always interested in lighting. In addition, the 15-year DJ experience brought lighting technology knowledge to a new level. By then, as a little boy, I already said that I wanted to be a business manager one day and hire employees.  When I presented my expertise in the garage, I had left a small slice of my paid work on the sidelines to buy LED technology, which I then sold on. There were no grants or bank loans, but zero was started. Passion was the one that took it further. Another important thing has always been the art of talking. The will to be the best takes things strangely forward.

At the moment, the company I founded is part of a larger group. There are already a little more than a dozen paid workers.

This year we have new instruments ahead of us, as we are setting up another KVS office in Tampere! I am particularly excited about the Tampere office. It's a challenge, but it's also a big opportunity. We bring strong LED technology and Casambi expertise to Pirkanmaa. Our warehouses and logistics from Seinäjoki will deliver the packages quickly in the future, but we will also place a small hand warehouse in Tampere.  This enables us to serve our customers even better all over Finland.

This year we will also publish something completely new and different material with a strong presence of all my personal passions for my work. Come on, more! So much has already been achieved, but we are only at the beginning of our story. This is also confirmed by the new strategy, which has now been adopted for five years to come. It's great to take it from here.
