Frequently Asked Questions at the Fair
The Sähkö-Electricity 26 trade show held last week was quite a buzz, and our booth was packed with people throughout the entire event! A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth! It was a pleasure to tell you about our products, hear about your projects, and answer your questions. We’ve compiled the TOP 5 questions and answers here:
1. What exactly is KVS?
A consulting lighting wholesaler where you can find everything you need for lighting. We bring together the designer’s vision, the client’s goals, and the realities of the space to ensure that the lighting truly works in practice. In addition to selling lighting solutions, we also provide training, consulting, and support. We aim to be a long-term partner with whom collaboration runs seamlessly from start to finish.
2. What are all these different brands?
We represent several carefully selected premium brands. Our goal is to meet our customers’ wishes and needs as comprehensively as possible, and that is rarely achievable with just one or two brands. Everything we cannot source from others, we have gathered under our own Mojova brand.
3. What is Casambi and how does it work?
Casambi is a Finnish wireless lighting control system. It does not require separate control wiring; instead, Casambi devices locate each other via Bluetooth signals and form a mesh network. Users can set up the system themselves and control the lighting using the Casambi app, for example, from their own smartphone. In everyday use, Casambi lighting can be operated using wall switches connected to the system—just like any other lighting system.
4. Does it matter what kind of lighting is installed in the room?
At KVS, we don’t just think about light fixtures, their output, and the color of the light. We approach the matter from the perspective of what we want to happen in the space and how we want it to look. The products are merely tools for creating that experience. We know that, at its best, lighting supports everything that happens in a space: in stores, it makes products look as appealing as possible; in offices, it supports productivity; and in restaurants, it creates atmosphere.
5. I suppose the delivery time for these products is long?
Our main location is in Seinäjoki, where we have large warehouse facilities. A large portion of our products—such as Casambi products, power supplies, LED strips, and LED accessories—are readily available off the shelf, and we can ship them to customers within a day or two. Of course, with such a wide product range, it’s impossible to keep absolutely everything in stock. However, items that need to be ordered are usually available from suppliers within a couple of weeks.
