The lighting of the façade should be considered in every housing company. Yard lighting is used to make safety, create an atmosphere and emphasize the characteristic features of the yard. When implemented intelligently, lighting is also energy efficient.

The lighting in housing companies is still in its infancy in many respects. Unfortunately, new buildings are still far ahead of the price, which is not at all the best possible solution in terms of the end result.

At its best, the yard lighting of the housing company meets the needs of the residents perfectly and is also balanced. It should be safe to walk outdoors all year round and around the clock. There is also a need for automation to get a good and functional lighting system.

When the lighting on the façade of the housing company has been taken care of intelligently, the amount of light is automatically controlled according to the rhythm of the day, either as clock control or astronomical control. You should always put the safety aspect first, for example. presence sensors make the dimmer lighting at night brighten if someone moves around the yard.

It should also be noted that the luminaire installed in the yard supports the architecture of the building. The façade can be illuminated, for example. with façade-mounted stem lamps, LED strip or recessed ground lamps. It is important to remember that the lighting on the façade should not dazzle inside the apartments.

However, the most important thing is the correct placement of the luminaire, suitable optics and directing the light to the right place.

In the stairwells, you can often see one striking bright lamp, which creates a contrast that hinders vision in a dark yard. A better solution is to install LED strips on the handrails of the stairs that do not dazzle the mover, and illuminate the stairs appropriately.

If the housing company is going to carry out a façade lighting renovation, for example, it is worth finding out whether it requires a permit for action, as this varies from place to place.

If the new housing company has a yard plan ready, it is easy to implement lighting for it. Of course, you have to think about what the yard will be like after decades. Trees and shrubs in the yard grow and therefore it affects the placement of lighting fixtures.

The price range in the lighting renovation varies a lot. Of course, the price is affected by the magnitude of the change, what kind of luminaires are chosen and, for example, what kind of luminaires are selected. whether work machines are needed for the change.
